An anthropologist with a very strong background in musicology, French philology and Japanese studies, Maria Grajdian is deeply passionate about reading, teaching, cooking, spending time with her family and loving life. Born and raised in beautiful beloved Romania (1977), she has divided her life (work + study) between Germany and Japan since 2000. Her upcoming book is Fast-Forward the Future: Takarazuka Revue’s Discourses of Anti-Nihilism on the exceptionally popular all-female Japanese musical theater company and its reshaping of the world yet to come.
